Blonde on blonde
Blonde on Blonde è il primo album doppio della storia del rock. Venne inciso in due studi diversi: New York e Nashville, Tennessee. A New York, Dylan è accompagnato dalla band The Hawks, ingaggiata su consiglio del produttore Albert Grossman e del cantante John Hammond, Jr. La band aveva già seguito Dylan in diversi concerti, in seguito all'abbandono di Mike Bloomfield e Al Kooper. Sul piano personale, il 22 Novembre 1965 Dylan sposerà in segreto la modella e attrice Sara Lownds, la quale ispirerà numerose sue canzoni, tra cui l'ultima traccia Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands.
