Lenny Bruce era cattivo,
era il fratello che non avevi mai avuto
note e significato
Lenny Bruce è lo pseudonimo di Leonard Alfred Schneider (1925 – 1966), un comico, cabarettista e autore satirico statunitense. A causa del suo umorismo che non risparmiava politica, religione, sesso e volgarità, venne condannato per oscenità nel 1964 a quattro mesi di casa di lavoro. A nulla servì una petizione a suo favore firmata da molte personalità dei tempi come Woody Allen, Elizabeth Taylor, Bob Dylan e Allen Ginsberg.
In seguito a questo, Lenny fu bandito da molte città americane e ebbe sempre più problemi a trovare lavoro come comico, anche se il supporto dei suoi ammiratori non venne meno. La sua autobiografia venne inizialmente pubblicata a puntate sul settimanale Playboy e successivamente raccolta in un libro intitolato Come Parlare Sporco e Influenzare la Gente. Morì a soli quarant'anni per overdose di morfina. La sua condanna venne infine annullata nel 2003.
